Update your site regularly: First thing is to update your site regularly. This is what most companies would like to believe. If your site optimized correctly and strictly to search engines rules, then there is nothing more you have to do. If your site is not updating regularly with fresh content then search engines will simply dump your site in newer fresher site. Don't ever think that search engines are made for company. Few people thinks that advertisers pay lots of money to search engines and occupy higher ranking positions in search results. And also thinks that their site never comes in top position. This is absolutely wrong. Search engines are not made for company. If your site relevant to the search that the user enters, it will appear in the results.
