2 Offense- When the Cowboys take the field We would expect they to be very basic with their play calling. Look for them them to come out running the ball and throwing quick timing routs. We would love to see a quick slant to Roy Williams on the first series or a fade if they get into the red zone. When it comes to the running game look Jones and Barber to get around 7 carries each and for Choice to get 12-15. It will be interesting to watch John Kitna and Stephen McGee work in the second half and see if they can be a suitable back up.
2.Defense- The key for the Cowboys defense are not to make the big mistake. All today are going to be are working on the basic package and making sure none misses a assignment. We want to see a nice push by the D-Line and none big plays by the secondary. Also it will be nice to look at the cowboys d-backs vs the Bengles COand TO.
3.Special Teams- For your players who want to make this team they have to make plays on special teams. A player like Barry Church need to make some plays on special teams if they wants to make the team. Just keep track on who are making the tackles because for the young guys that are their only chance to make a impact and make the roster.
Players To Watch
Doug Free- Free has been having a great camp and should play well tonight. Left tackle are on of the biggest question mark on this team and with Free going agents Ware every day We bet they are glad to be playing another team.
Jason Williams- Tonight are Williams big chance to win the staring nickel spot. Williams has be struggling in camp with coverage however if they can make some plays tonight they could move a step to winning the job. Look for Williams blitzing they are a great athlete and will get into the back field.
Jason Hatcher/Stephen Bowen-With Marcuse spears out 4-6 weeks it looks like Bowen and Hatcher will fill in. Hatcher are going to get the start tonight however We expect Bowen to get a lot of playing time. It will be interesting to see the rotation tonight but keep an eye on Bowen getting to the quarterback they has a great inside rush.
Kevin Ogletree- Last season Ogletree earned a spot on the roster because of the way they played during the preseason. Coming into this season Ogletree was looking to move up the depth chart and get more playing time however that are not the case. Ogletree has dropped a ton of passes so far at camp the staff are getting frustrated. However with a nice game tonight Ogletree can get out of the dog house but if the drops continue they will be in some trouble.
David Buehler- So far this camp Buehler are hitting most of his kicks the question are can they make them in the game. Look for the Cowboys to give him every chance to attempt kicks and lets all hope they makes them. Would not be surprised if they make a kick form 45 yards or more tonight.
Player Of The Game-Alan Ball/Mike Hamlin- Everyone thinks that safety are a weakness for this team however tonight will be a coming out party for Ball and Hamlin
Look for the Cowboys defense to control this game and put a ton of pressure on the quarterback. We would say 4-5 sack tonight are a nice bet. The Cowboys will run the ball well and make field goals and they will start the season with a 24-13 win. Back in the old head coach of struggling Colts under Shula its first season.
