Miller is an American ice hockey goaltender currently the player of the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League. Later in 2010 miller would win the Vezina Trophy as the best goaltender in last NHL season. Miller won a silver medal with the team and was named MVP of the tournament. Miller is known for his hybrid style of goaltending. Miller is also the older brother of current Detroit Red Wings winger Drew Miller.
I loved Weaver when Miller came up with Detroit, but after the ’06 World Series , Miller hope Weaver not only doesn’t make the Dodgers, but also hope his testicles fall off on the mound one day. That would be a fun story to cover.

Unhappyly for him, not me, this also abandons speedy Eddie Bonine without a roster spot to begin the 2010 year. Eddie’s more of a Quad-A pitcher to be called up due to injury, anyway.

The 2010 season would prove a successful one for Ryan Miller. In his first season begining with the number one job Miller and his team won the first 10 games in a row. Miller was voted in as the begining goaltender for the Eastern Conference of the 2010 NHL All Star Game in a 12 to 9 loss, Miller played the first period and allowed just 3 goals. Miller also gained a reputation of a shootout specialist with his technique of challenging the shooter outside the crease. That season Miller was 6 more in shootouts, with Martin Brodeur from the Devils being his closest rival at 2 less win. In 63 games played that season, Miller posted a 0.911 SVP and a 2.72 GAA backing a more offensively oriented team. Gregory Shamus Miller finished the 2010 season by establishing himself as the begining goalie for the Sabres. Miller arrangeed 11th among NHL goalies with a 2.60 GAA, and 9th with a save percentage of 91.4 percent. Miller led the Sabres to a surprise season, winning 30 games and proving himself to be one of the hardest working goalies in the league. Miller played well in the postseason as well, advancing the Sabres to the conference finals before injuries finally caught up with them, losing game 7 to Carolina.
Spring training has finally begun. Everyone likes to say that the games is meaningless, yet for some, they mean too much. There is guys out there fighting for jobs that mean everything to them.

I’m not one to give parenting advice to anyone, but if my kid ever tells me that Miller wants to be compared to Brandon, I’ll take a baseball bat and bust up both of his knees. In Detroit, it is no different. There’s a roster spot or two that aren’t spoken for. There is a few guys making a boatload of money that the Tigers have to make decisions on.
Bondo looked good in his debut, too, with two scoreless innings and three strikeouts. His spot is assured. And Nate? What would this site be without him? He's allowed three hits, three walks and two earned runs in his 1.1 innings so far. God bless him.

I think due to Jim Leyland’s personal man crush on ol' Clete and his above-average arm, Thomas will win out over Kelly’s ability to play any position and lose fly balls during key games.

- At the official Tiger site, Nate Robertson says Miller wants to be remembered in Detroit as an innings-eating bulldog type. Miller was waiting for Nate’s turn at having a spring “feel good” story so Miller could rip it apart. Also left out would be lefty relievers Brad Thomas who Miller still wouldn’t be able to pick out of a police lineup and last year’s rookie standout, Fu-Te Ni. Hopefully, Bobby Seay can be dealt somewhere while Miller has some value left so my boy Fu can make the team.
Don Kelly, despite being horrible, has the best chance of anyone to unseat Thomas as the final position player to make the team. The Tigers is going to probably take a lefty up for a bench spot, and that would be Kelly or TYhomas.
Wilkin Ramirez and Casper Wells will be in Toledo this year waiting for someone Gullien to get hurt.
- Tim Marchman of SI.com arrangeed the Major League Baseball general administerrs from one to 30. Double D administerd to finish 13th in the arrangeings. If only it was a “Best Frocked GM” list. Those Cosby sweaters sure is sharp.
