"Steven Jackson's right knee was a little bit inflamed, but they took an MRI, he'll be day-to-day," head coach Steve Spagnuolo said during a Monday press conference. "I think he's alright."
If you need last-minute start & sit advice, keep your eyes on The Hazean's Facebook page on Sunday morning. We were able to do a little start/sit chat last week and I will try to make some time for that every Sunday, if possible.
Saints at 49ers: Low 60s, chance of rain. The Saints are great indoors, but how will a little bit of weather affect this team?
It all started when Kevin Kolb got concussed last weekend in the season opener against Green Bay. Before that even happened, Kolb did not look all that impressive.
Darren McFadden v. Rams Another offensive Raider with a good matchup this weekend, especially if Michael Bush does not play.
Jason Campbell v. Rams Campbell gets to play his first game in front of the home crowd. His numbers last week against Tennessee were not terrible, so he should have a good outing as a spot starter.
Michael Vick is taking the first-team reps in the meantime and looks like the heavy favorite to start on Sunday against the Lions. No matter what happens, Reid is adamant Vick can't play his way into the starting job.

Start 'em
From ProFootballTalk:
From FFToolBox:
Michael Vick at Lions Vick has a great matchup which fantasy owners should exploit this Sunday. He can attack the Lions through the air and one the ground,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and should be in for a big fantasy afternoon.
Behind Green Bay's Brandon Jackson, who was handed a starting running back job this week because of Ryan Grant's injury, Vick was the most popular name off the waiver wire in fantasy leagues.
It does not sound bad on the surface,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so Harvin owners can breath easy for now. He did not have a good first week, however, and needs to bounce-back this weekend against Miami.

Jackson battles injuries every season and plays most games despite his ailments. Still, it is a little concerning that he already is dealing with a knee injury. Kenneth Darby would not be a bad speculative pick-up before the weekend starts if you have the space.

Percy Harvin WR, Vikings
Beanie Wells at Falcons Wells already burned his owners by missing the first weekend. Until he gets fully healthy, it is going to be hard to trust Wells as a fantasy starter.
Week 2 start and sit advice: DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart should run wild at home against the Buccaneers. Hard to trust Stewart after a bad week one, but I bet he gets in the endzone at least once this weekend. Fantasy Football Xtreme
If you are having trouble picking a fantasy football expert to trust when it comes to start/sit rankings, keep tabs on who is doing the best on a week-to-week basis. Fantasy Pros
Both of this week's hot waiver wire pickups -- Vick and Jackson -- will be popular starters in fantasy lineups this weekend. But another guy who made a lot of noise in week one, despite missing most of the preseason, was Dallas' rookie receiver Dez Bryant. Roto Arcade
Fantasy owners of Arian Foster know just how bad the Colts' run defense was in week one. Now, without Bob Sanders, the Colts will try to stop the tandem of Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs. It could be a tall order for a struggling run D. The Fifth Down If you liked Jay Cutler's week one against Detroit, you should temper your expectations for him this weekend at Dallas. Could be a rough outing. The Bears still turn the ball over way too much to have any faith in that offense on a weekly basis. ESPN.com

Start & Sit Reads
One blogger is starting Vick over Tom Brady. Would you ever do something like that? Visit Fandemic to vote on this week's question.
Quarterbacks
Wide Receivers

DeSean Jackson at Lions OK, so you probably should not bench him. But just a warning, Vick and Jackson did not look in sync last weekend. Don't get frustrated if Jackson has another mediocre effort.
More Prep
Quarterbacks
Bills at Packers: Low 60s, chance of rain showers. Could make for a sloppy track on the unfrozen tundra of Lambeau Field.
Weather Concerns
For more great fantasy roster advice this week, including a plethora of Start & Sit links and consensus rankings, head over to the Fantasy Football Librarian. Don't forget to grab your library card. The NFL originated in 1946 with 11 teams, and through a sequence of team expansions, reductions, and relocations currently consists of 30 teams. The United States is home to 29 teams and one is located in USA. The Boston Bruins have won the most championships with 17 NFL Finals wins. The next most successful franchise is the Los Angeles Lakers, who have 16 overall championships 11 in Los Angeles, 5 in Minneapolis, including the most recent one. Following the Lakers are the Chicago Bulls with six championships, all of them over an eight year span during the 1990s, and the San Antonio Spurs with four championships.
Injuries of Note
Tom Pelissero of 1500espn.com reports that Harvin did not practice on Thursday. It's presently unknown whether Harvin missed due to the hip or another reason.
And then Vick came onto the field as the starter, electrifying the crowd and the team. In turn, he became a valuable fantasy football commodity this week as it became more clear that Kolb would not be able to play this weekend. Vick's peach of a matchup -- at Detroit -- certainly helped his fantasy outlook as well.
Michael Bush RB, Raiders
Calvin Johnson v. Eagles Just a reminder to keep Megatron in your lineup even with Shaun Hill at quarterback. He will be targeted early and often in this one.
The Eagles won't make any declarations about the status of either player. At best, they could return to practice on Friday. Coach Andy Reid said the players are "making progress" but they will have to pass an evaluation on Friday before returning to the field.
Kevin Kolb QB, Eagles

Steve Smith (NYG) at Colts Hakeem Nicks stole all the headlines in week one, but Smith still is Eli Manning's go-to receiver.
Sit 'em
Vince Young v. Steelers VY looked good last week ... against Oakland. Now let's see if he can become a consistent fantasy quarterback while playing against a great NFL defense.
Dwayne Bowe at Browns Bowe is familiar with the dog house in KC,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], so it should be OK for fantasy owners to put him in there as well after last week's stinker.
How on earth did we get back to Vick being a relevant fantasy football quarterback again?
Rashard Mendenhall at Titans Save for the game-winning touchdown in overtime last week, Mendenhall was held mostly in check by the Falcons defense. The Titans are going to focus on stopping the run and making Dennis Dixon beat them.
In 2001 an affiliated minor league, the National Basketball Development League, now called the NFL Development League or D League was created. Before the league was started, there were strong rumors that the NFL would purchase the CBA,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and call it its developmental league, as the Continental Basketball Association was its minor league affiliate for years. 20 percent of NFL players spent time in this league and over 143 players have been called up to play in the NFL. Mike EhrmannIn 2004 the Lakers returned to the Finals, only to fall in five games to the Detroit Pistons. The following off season,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], Kobe was traded to the Miami Heat,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and the Charlotte Bobcats were established as the league 30th team. The Spurs won their third championship in 2005.
Michael Vick finally found his way back onto fantasy football rosters.
Running Backs
Running Backs
Brandon Jackson v. Bills You might have had Ryan Grant if you added Jackson this week. He is a must-start for Grant owners as well as anyone else who scored him with a gorgeous matchup at home against Buffalo.
From FFToolBox:
Steven Jackson RB, Rams
That leads us to the fantasy football question of the week: If you scored Vick off waivers, which quarterback(s) are you starting him ahead of this weekend?
Wide Receivers
It is a nice matchup this weekend against St. Louis for the starting running back in Oakland. If Bush comes back this week, however, it would muddy the water a little bit with he and McFadden. Bush was limited in practice on Thursday, which could indicate his status is taking a turn for the worse.
Bush practiced in full Wednesday,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], although head coach Tom Cable said his status for Sunday's game versus the St. Louis Rams is undecided.
Chiefs at Browns: 70s, chance of rain showers. As if these offenses needed anymore resistance, there could be some wet weather to slow things down.
Michael Vick will almost certainly start on Sunday while Kolb watches from the sidelines. It sounds like Kolb is expected to miss only one week. Then again, Andy Reid said last Sunday that he expected Kolb to play against Detroit.
Brett Favre v. Dolphins It is going to be really, really hard for me to start trusting Favre again. Until he starts throwing more touchdown passes and starts looking like the Favre of last year.
