prakash Hydro-Power Limited (Jaiprakash Hydro) is an Indian company, engaged in power generation. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Jaiprakash Associates Limited and a part of the Jaypee Group. The company own and operates the 300 MW Baspa-II hydroelectric project at district Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh. This hydropower project is one of the India's largest private sector hydropower plants project. The project is a run-of-the-river hydro-electric power plant with an installed capacity of 300 MW, designed to produce electrical energy estimated at 1,213.18 million units (MU) annually.
