"We are responsible for any supplement, medication, anything you put in your body,NCAA Jerseys," Brown said. "You have to make sure you follow NFL guidelines. I was being a little bit naive."
"You get used to the day-to-day regimen of coming in here and practicing every day, and when you get away from that, it really hits home," Brown said. "And on Sunday, my body was used to getting up early and getting real tense, but sitting there and watching my guys through the highs and the lows, it was tough.
Asked after practice about the third-stringer Leinart, a former first-round pick of the Arizona Cardinals, coach Gary Kubiak gushed.
Coach Gary Kubiak said Derrick Ward jersey was about 6 or 7 pounds over his optimum playing weight when the Texans acquired him. Now that he's dropped that extra weight, he's been so impressive that Kubiak has no qualms whatsoever about using Derrick Ward jersey to spell Foster.
"Oh boy, he's making a lot of progress," Kubiak said. "I'm really impressed with how far he's come. He has a lot of confidence as a person. He has that 'it' factor when people are around him - you can see it.
He has a 1,000-yard season under his belt, in 2008 with the New York Giants, which is something no other Texans running back besides Steve Slaton can boast. And if not for Arian Foster, Derrick Ward jersey looks good enough at the moment to do it again.
"He's going to really help us down the stretch," Kubiak said.
"I told him there wasn't as much fanfare when he came back."
"Duane looked good," he said. "He told me his personal trainer worked him out really good. I don't know about that, but he looked good.
Texans notes: Duane Brown is back
Matt Schaub was given the day off Tuesday, so backups Dan Orlovsky and Matt Leinart split the reps at quarterback.
Coach Gary Kubiak liked what he saw.
"I'm able to get out there and feel fresh when my number is called," said Derrick Ward jersey, who has carried the ball 17 times for 141 yards and three touchdowns. "Hopefully, I'll be able to replicate what I did (with the Giants)."
Quarterback shuffle?
"He continues to push Dan every day," he said.
As corny as that sounds, it's exactly what the left tackle had been missing — even though Brown said he worked out six days a week in Houston during his suspension.
Without missing a beat, Foster replied, "Didn't you found that?"
Derrick Ward jersey up
He feels good enough, too.
"It was definitely a life lesson, and it will never happen again."
"I'm excited about the direction of his career. I'm happy to have him."
Maybe not from the fans and the media. But inside the locker room, Brown's presence was well-received. Wide receiver Jacoby Jones serenaded Brown, surrounded while conducting interviews, with the theme from Welcome Back, Kotter.
Derrick Ward jersey is just 30, but because Slaton and Foster are both 24, he's considered the old man of the group. When told Foster was mocking his age, Derrick Ward jersey said to Foster, "You want to go to the YMCA?"
In a statement released by the Texans in September, Brown said he "unknowingly took a supplement tainted with a banned substance." On Tuesday, he refused to reveal which substance he ingested.
Labeling his just-completed suspension for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances "the longest four weeks of my life," left tackle Duane Brown returned to practice Tuesday.
Kubiak then was asked if there was a possibility of a shift in the depth chart. |
